Cotton Day Japan Kicks Off with T-Shirt Design Contest
Cotton Council International's (CCI) annual Cotton Day T-shirt contest allows aspiring designers to utilize cotton as their medium for expression. Residents from Japan and four other countries submitted more than 1,400 designs.
The judging ceremony for the Cotton Day T-shirt contest featured a panel of judges, including consumer and trade media representatives, the president of the Japan Spinners’ Association (JSA) and a vice president from Cotton Incorporated. JSA will award the winners at the Cotton Day consumer event in Tokyo on May 15.
Cotton Day events across Asia celebrate the planting season for U.S. cotton and feature high-level industry leaders, press interviews and top-tier celebrities.
